  • Mesh linings wick moisture
  • Gusseted, padded tongues and padded collars block debris and prevent pressure points
  • Anatomical, dual-density EVA footbeds offer support and cushioning
  • Molded polyurethane midsoles cushion and absorb shock

I have worn these boots through the worst the Eastern Sierra has to offer, from dry dusty pumice to hard granite and winter snow. They have held up exceptionally well. Considering I wore the Wasatch for 6 months and the sole split. Backcountry warrantied them, and I got the Bitteroot. Considering the problems I've had with sole splitting in the past, I've kept an eye on these boots, and so far no problems. Also no blisters on the break in! Great boots!

I have a pair of Vasque boots and would like to buy another pair. The only flaw is duribility, the sole for some reason comes off the boot at the glue line. I wish they made an "old school" boot : where the cleated sole was sewen onto the the upper. Soo much stronger. That way, you wouldn't be afraid to step into a tightened pair of cramps, and be afraid that the boot will separate. But I guess the old days are gone. If you have another boot to recommend that has the upper sewn onto the bottom cleat please email me..

I am a woman who's foot is unfortunately big enough to require a men's size in this boot. This boot - according to the vasque website- comes in a narrow size for 9-12. Who sells the narrow option??? Because it definitely is not available here.

Bought my self and my husband a pair. We both love them! They offer good support for his bad ankles and very comfortable. They run true to size

I love these boots! They were comfortable instantly. I love the support they give and they are 100% waterproof so far. I was not impressed with the stock insoles, but I can't remember the last time I was. They have been very durable over about a hundred miles. I have heard some people say that they fell apart right away, and this is not the case for me and I am very hard on shoes. There is a spot on one of the seams near the sole that MAY be coming undone, but It has looked like it has for a while and nothing else has happened to them.

I had never owned a pair of Vasque boots, and I was skeptical after reading the reviews of some of their other models.

So far they have performed well beyond my expectations. They were comfortable from day one, with support in the arch and plenty of room in the toe box. They took no time to break in and the waterproofing has yet to fail, even after spending all day in the driving rain.

The tread has a great design and works well going up or down slopes and even on the side slope situations. The soles flex where they should yet the boot has great overall ankle support.

I definitely recommend these boots to anyone that might be on the fence about a backpacking boot. They pass the test day after day and my work is very demanding on my feet.
