Description

Worthy of reverence.

Why limit yourself to a single solution when you can get the best of both worlds with the Vans Men's Revere Boa Snowboard Boot? It has a hybrid Boa closure system that combines classic lacing with Boa for a supportive, yet comfy fit that will satisfy traditionalists and technophiles alike.

The hybrid Boa system features traditional lacing to allow the customizable fit and feel you love, but with a Boa dial that tightens around the instep to lock your heel down for reduced fatigue and better response. A medium flex provides enough support for charging high-speed lines and sending jumps, yet is still flexible enough to jib with in the streets. Heat-moldable foam in the QuadFit-X liner provides a comfortable custom fit, and it has a flexible neoprene toe box to keep your feet from feeling cramped.

Triple-density EVA in the V3 footbed cushions where you want it and supports where you need it. Lightweight UltraCush material in the outsole shaves weight while improving rebound, and it's reinforced with tacky rubber in strategic areas for reliable traction and added durability. The outsole also has an ImpactSorb heel insert to further improve cushioning. An integrated Recco reflector is not a substitute for an avalanche transceiver or proper backcountry training, but it can provide an extra means of being found if caught in a slide.

I hear these soften into mush after a short time. I currently have the 32 JP Walker, and love it for it's comfort. I hate it for it's support, flex in the steeps, and in the narrow tree runs. I need something that will put down a hard carve when I need it to, yet still work well in the park. Advice?

Awesome boots

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These boots have a traditional lace system, but have a single boa to keep your heel down. Heel lift was a big problem for me before i found these gems. They are kind of hard to get in and out of, but have a build in ankle wrap that keeps your heel down very well. They are top shelf boots. I love the heel boa, its a game changer for people with heel lift issues.
