Show your new-skool feet some old-skool style.

Let your feet send a well-deserved shout-out to skating’s pioneers. Vans Old Skool Skate Shoes were worn by the best of the best from the early days of skateboarding. The original flat skateboards with clay wheels might have died out, but the Old Skools still shred with the best.

You can't improve on perfection

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 7"
    Weight: 175 lbs

Old School Vans have been my favorite shoe for decades. Every time I open a fresh box with new Old Schools in them it's like coming home. I saw the black color with cork, and had to get them.

What makes Old Schools so great? Minimal, classic style and comfort. I fell in love with them back when I skateboarded every day. The minimal sole allowed me to feel the board under my feet. I grew to love that same feeling just walking around. Although they're not the most cushioned shoe out there, they are still comfortable; and the more broken-in they get, the more comfortable they feel.

As long as Vans makes Old Schools I'll always have a pair in my closet.

Clasic Style And super comfy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Can't beat the classic style of Vans Old Skool. Its comfortable and has that stylin' Vans feel. In my experience Vans runs about a half size bigger so take that into consideration when looking at sizes!

Very classic, stylish shoe. Has nice thick padding around the ankles for skaters. The sole is a little thin, so you wouldn't want to hit up the Carlsbad Gap (If it still existed) but has great board feel so technical wizards will love it. The suede on the toe is a little bit thin and tears easy, but nothing a little shoe goo or duct tape won't fix. Overall a great shoe for looks and skating, a shoe for all occasions.

restock the reds in 4.5 soon pleeease?

Hey Abby,

Unfortunately the smallest we stock these in is a 9.5 as they are a mens shoe.

Good Stuff

I like these shoes a lot for longboarding. Nice and tight. But, the soles are starting to bald after just a few weeks of using them.

I've been wearing these shoes for years. I actually love it when the soles get thin. They're soft, comfortable, and I can really feel my board under my feet.

Style and Smooth

These shoes are awesome! I just got them yesterday and they are both super good looking and nice and comfortable. I have kind of wide feet, so usually vans are a little too skinny for me, but these ones fit really well. They are simple without a lot of random extras, just a skinny little skate shoe that gets the job done. I got the blue ones and they are flashy for sure, but not over the top because the blue is pretty mellow.

Vans did something wrong when they went with the thick tongue shoes. They fixed it with by bringing bad the Old Skool Vans. They hug the pedals when riding on the trails or commuting to work.
