Modern tech, timeless style.
The Vans Men's Aura Boa Snowboard Boot knows that being a boot means being the single most important piece of equipment a rider owns. Everything starts at the feet—from turning, to boned-out grabs, to next-level rails tricks. No matter where or how you like to ride, all-day comfort, ease-of-use, and clean looks never go out of style.
Dual Boa reels allow you to independently adjust the tightness of three different zones of the boot so you can easily dial in the perfect fit every time. The new Custom Slide Glide allows you to adjust the fit along the instep for customized comfort and superior heel hold. Its medium flex is bendy enough for tweaking tricks in the park, yet supportive enough for shredding scary lines, and full instep articulation allows forward flex without breaking down the shell.
The TriFit-X thermal liner is heat-moldable for a custom fit, and has a fleece-lined cuff and flexible toe box for comfort. A mix of EVA and natural cork in the footbed provides cushioning where you want it and support where you need it to absorb shock and prevent foot fatigue. The Classic Lite outsole is made with EVA to reduce weight while improving cushioning, and strategically-placed rubber in the most high-wear areas ensures long-lasting durability and traction.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I'm a street 11 easily - have never (ever) worn 12's but 12 in this is a near exact fit. Having bought two other boots from BC that were 11.5's only to have them fully cramp the piggies I had size-phobia, and these follow suit. You prob have to go one size up and that's also a comment on the Vans.com site too.
As for style - its obvious, but the fit is als sweet. They were tad tough to get into at first, but you gotta pull the tongues all the way up. Heel-hold is awesome and the boa crank for ankle and then width is perfect - quickly pops for relaxed / walking.
I can't recommend these enough. Black & white is classic, they're vans, and after 3-4 days of intense walking / hike-to lines and also lifts - they're broken in nicely and I simply adore 'em.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

If you have a more narrow foot, check these boots out. They really hold your heel down and are comfy on and even off the board( maybe having drinks apres). The double boa makes it easy to get the perfect fit that you want when out riding. Whether its shredding pow or just jib laps with the homies, the Aura is a great choice. You can crank them down or ride them a little loose.
The lovely foot model is a 9 in street shoes and the 9 boot fits him perfectly.
