For hard-charging ladies.

It seems like so many brands water down their 'women's-specific' bindings with last year's tech and hand-me-down parts, making you wonder if women are an afterthought when it comes to fit and performance. Taking a totally different approach, the Union Women's Legacy Snowboard Binding delivers the fine-tuned fit and high-end response that Union is famous for. Built from the ground-up to accommodate hard-charging ladies, the Legacy features a female-specific Stage III baseplate that's crafted of Duraflex nylon for bombproof build quality, as backed by Union's lifetime warranty on baseplates.

Cored-out for lightweight performance, the Asymmetric/Symmetric highback is designed for maximum freestyle freedom without sacrificing heelside response when you're bombing steeps and carving up icy pipe walls. New for this year, Union equipped the Legacy with a super-comfy SonicFused ankle strap. This ankle strap uses a multi-layer composite that's fused together into a single articulated strap, minimizing stitching to increase durability. Furthermore, you'll find a multi-position toe strap that conforms over the tip of your boot, pulling your heel back into the binding for a seamless fit.

  • Female-specific Stage III baseplate (Duraflex nylon)
  • Extruded 3D Aluminum heel cup
  • Asymmetric/asymmetric highback
  • SonicFused ankle straps
  • Toe cap straps
  • Magnesium buckles
  • 4-hole, Channel-compatible disc

Not For Me

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I thought I would give Union binding another try after getting a recommendation on these. I should have stuck with my gut. I gave them a shot for the 2014/2015 season and they kept letting me down. Sure, they will do the job, but not without frustration along the way.
1. The toe strap slides down and is loose by the time you get done with your run.
2. They are made cheap. The blue paint is chipping away. The straps are all worn out around the edges. (Cosmetic, but cheap)
These binding may work really well for some riders. I like bigger mountain terrain with more aggressive turns so floating down some groomers may be just fine.

Nice binding but more medium flex

This is a nice binding-- much better than the lexa or escapade & defintely stiffer but i wouldnt describe these as stiff. Theyre more mid range flex & not for use with steeps. Great park bindings! Really nice toe straps that dont snap off even when carving which happens with most bindings.

I got this binding for my lady and she loves them. Between the comfort and diversity its a binding that does all with a dreamlike ride. The chargers will really enjoy this binding as response is through the roof, but its definitely not limited to freeride as she still rips the park all day in these and doesn't skip a beat
