Really great binding

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These bindings have been very good to me. Have used them for a couple trips so far and they have not let me down. The adjustability is all there, the straps have never loosened up either, and they're easy to put on and take off.

They are definitely a good purchase.

Order a size up if you are not sure. I have size 10 boots and the M/L did not fit them. The L/XL was a much better choice.

Solid

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these bindings are good for everything on the mountain. They are solid in the park and have go response when you need it if your playing in the tress.

I recently tried out the malavita re:flex binding and loved how sturdy they were. Their flex rating on here is 6 out of 10. These union bindings flex rating is medium-soft, I wanna know how these compare to the 6 of 10 rating on the malavita re:flex because I'm looking for a more sturdy binding

Responded on

if you want something rigid and responsive go with the 'Vitas. I am familiar with both of these bindings and right now i have the Malavita Re:Flex with the winged highback and i absolutely kill it in the glades. The response is amazing

Do these bindings have canted footbeds? If not, what Union models have canted footbeds?

Responded on

Hey there! Unfortunately these bindings don't have canted footbeds, however, I believe the Union Factory and Union T. Rice ones do.

Awesome!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great Response, and great feel. Union continues to never disappoint. Great for use wherever on the mountain you ride (park, pow, etc)

Awesome!

Park assasin

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The Flite binding is the ultimate park/rail binding in my opinion. Soft flex under foot, soft highback, and they weigh nothing. They are super comfy and easy to whip around jibbing the park plus they don't cost an arm and a leg. Definitely would ride these again taking park laps with the homies.
