True board flex means true board control.

Thanks to its soft flex and skate-style board feel, the Union Contact Snowboard Binding is your favorite riders' favorite rider, Scott Stevens' favorite binding. Feel your presses and tailslides lock in like never before, thanks to the Asym S2 highback and board flex-enhancing Stage V baseplate design. The Asym S2 highback is super-tweakable in all the right places so you can poke grabs and bone-out slides, but with extra lateral support towards the outside to provide more control when jumping and spinning.

The Stage V baseplate makes minimal contact with your board so it flexes more naturally, netting you superior board feel and control. An extruded 3D aluminum heelcup reduces weight while maintaining strength and stiffness. EVA in the footbed absorbs vibrations for a smoother ride. The 3D Direct-Connect ankle strap provides a secure and responsive fit without creating painful pressure points, and the Ultra Grip toe strap is low-profile and cored-out to wrap around the front of your boot for a comfy and secure fit.

Great light bindings

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These bindings are great for ripping all over the mountain though I will say I prefer a softer binding for my riding. They are redonkulously light in my opinion but still offer great performance. I have never had issues with Union and super stoked on these.

Nice binding but poor delivery

I'm a bit dissapointed when I eventually received the product. There are very serious cosmetic issues, and it looks like this product was returned by someone. I hope the function is still OK though, and will try in a few days.

    Nice binding but poor delivery

    great gift

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got help from John H on buying these Union bindings for my boyfriend for Christmas. John H was very helpful and helped me pick out an awesome gift that my boyfriend was excited when he opened. Sadly no snow really in Midwest for him to try them out but once he does i will update.
    Thanks again John H.!!!

Favorite Bindings I have ever owned

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my first pair of Union bindings and I do not plan on switching back to any other brand. These are a great looking binding and the performance is even better. I have used them all over the mountain and they have been perfect on all terrain from park to pow.

    All new CONTACT!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Contact is designed for the park and freestyle lover. The Contact is the only binding in the Union line that features an Over the Edge bushing to allow a more lateral, skate style flex from your bindings' baseplate. With only 19% of the baseplate in contact with your boards top sheet, the Contact allows tons of board flex under your binding, preventing flat spots in your boards flex pattern. A new snap down disc cover is killer, and does away with the extra hardware and use of a tool. This binding is perfect for the likes of Scott Stevens. Scott's super creative snowboard style requires maximum flex provided by a lightweight, simple yet durable binding. Me, I just have them on my powder board so i can get that extra surfy flex under foot while throwing buckets.
Either way, The Contact is affordable, durable, soft, light and no B.S.
