Description

A smart cool-weather choice.

Cold-weather athletes who focus on simplicity need look no further for their next baselayer than the Under Armour UA Evo ColdGear Mock Top. This moisture-wicking garment’s 4-way stretch fabric allows for the most custom fit possible and accelerates dry time after a sweaty run so you stay warm as your heart-rate returns to normal. Flatlocked construction reduces chafing, and an ultra-brushed interior traps the most warmth possible.

Great base layer

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wear this several times a week for cold weather activities. It works great to wick sweat. It dries quickly after sweating and washing. It fits very tight but that is how it was designed I like that is is long enough to stay tucked in and the sleeve length is long enough to reach under my mittens. It isn't as warm as some other thermal base layers but dries quicker. This is my go to for a base layer.

Love it

  • Gender: Female

You can't really go wrong with Under Armour. This liner is nice and thick, but definitely not bulky. It is pretty soft on the inside and is perfect for layering.

Awesome!

Love it!! Love the pretty raspberry color! This is my first Under Armour piece and now I see why everyone loves it! I was always afraid to run in the cold weather until my friend pointed out proper layering. This piece has allowed me outside in the cold weather to do functional runs vs treadmill. Worth every penny! Be advised, these are very fitted. I ordered my shirt size and it is skin tight. A comfortable skintight, which I think is how they are to be worn anyway given it's a base layer.

Awesome!

I have this in purple and black. Fantastic for layering underneath your ski/snowboarding jacket or as a standalone for a cool/cold jog. Soft, comfortable inner lining.

great base

This to is a great base layer; fits well (tight and fitted) and is quite warm. It looks good, too..,elegant in its way, which is a nice feeling after playing hard all day outdoors!

Under Armour EVO top

This top has worked for me in the past, and is working for me still. All I need to wear over this is 1 fleece, and I am warm all day long. It works great for me when I am skiing.

Just what I wanted

The material is soft and keeps me warm. It's not too bulky and can be worn alone or underneath for extra warmth. I really love this color too. I have an older black one, but I think this material is even better and yes purple looks much better.

Does this fit tight like compression shirts...

Does this fit tight like compression shirts or looser like the base layer 2.0?

Responded on

it fits tightly but not like a compression layer-- it's comfortable. and, it looks good.

Best Answer Responded on

Slighty looser than compression but if you've got some bulk under the arms, the seams rub uncomfortably. I'm 5'5" and 123 lbs and it was uncomfortable under the arms for me.
