Instead of waddling around in multiple layers or bulky expedition-weight tights under your ski pants to stop you from freezing in single-digit temperatures, layer first with the Under Armour Women's Coldgear Infrared EVO CG Leggings. The secret is the printed pattern of ceramic particles on the already-cozy brushed interior of these tights that absorbs your body heat for later use while still allowing air and moisture to pass through when you're breaking a sweat.Yet this heat-trapping layer is barely perceptible, so you get serious warmth from leggings that are no heavier than standard midweight tights.

    • ColdGear Infrared technology consists of a soft, undetectable coating of ceramic material that absorbs and retains your body heat for daylong warmth without additional bulk
    • Four-way stretch fabric breathes, wicks moisture, dries quickly, and offers full freedom of motion
    • Ultra-brushed interior face feels soft against your skin and provides extra warmth
    • Winner Waistband construction features a slightly higher rise in the back of the comfortable wide waistband for better coverage
    • Ergonomic seam placement and flatlock seams prevent chafing

    Keeps me warm and toasty

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS

Bought these for a snowboarding trip to Tahoe, wanted a baselayer to wear under my snowpants without having to bulk up on additional layers. These cold gears were awesome! One day on the mountain was pouring rain, another day was white out blizzard conditions, another day was very cold and windy. With just the Cold Gears and snowpants I stayed warm AND dry!

As far as fit, I sized down to an XS (typically I wear size S), they were pretty tight at first (I may have heard a seam rip) but after 1 day of wear they stretched out and formed to my body. They stayed in place and didn't slide down or ride up. Very comfortable.

The only thing that I would change is the length of the legs. I'm 5'6" and I have to roll up the hems because they are several inches too long.

Other than the length I absolutely love them. Highly recommend.

    Warm and cozy!

These bad boys are super toasty on the slopes! I've loved the cold gear tops for years so I knew going in that these would be great as well for the colder days.

I could have gone with the medium size (if it were in stock) but the large work for me with a little extra room in case I pack on some winter weight once more.

    Leggings ARE pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large

In the winter I live in leggings.

These are perfect,The fabric moves well so would be awesome for yoga, running or a base layer.

I run pretty warm so I like that these are thin. The lining makes these good for cold Utah weather though. If you look at the picture below you can see the "Coldgear Infrared ceramic print" basically this makes the fabric trap body heat to help keep you warm. Can't feel that ceramic print while you are wearing them.

In the right light you can slightly see the print, doesn't bother me!

I have washed mine in cold water (no drying for me). They most likely wont shrink and run a tiny bit big. So if you are between 2 sizes on the chart go with the smaller size.

    Leggings ARE pants

    definitely keeps me warm

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was skeptical of the "Infrared" technology, but now I'm sold. I have a pair of these and the ColdGear (non-Infrared) leggings, and the Infrared are definitely warmer. I have been wearing these under casual pants for walking around single-digit (degF) temps, as well as under shell pants for cross country skiing. These leggings kept me warm and without overheating. The cut is also very comfortable, with a wide waistband that doesn't slide down when you sit. Seam placement is also great, there's never any chafing (i.e., around the ankles when layered with socks in a boot) or itchiness from seams when layered.

    So Far, So Warm

Because I am a girl, I get cold all the time, of course. I've had these leggings for a few days and now nothing else I have is going to get used.

These were so helpful during a chilly 28 degree trail run, I had no worries about the cold or the fit - these tights stay tight for hours and do a superb job of retaining warmth. I'm wearing them around the house, to bed, to the store - bottom line is that they're comfortable and warm. They look really clean and simple, and they fit really well even though my hip-to-waist ratio usually makes finding leggings that fit my big hips, cyclist legs, and my smaller stomach a real problem.

These perform really well on cold weather runs. The best gear is the kind of stuff you can put on, forget about, and go shred. These leggings do that - no shivering or yanking up a loosening waistband. Now that I have these, I'm super motivated to get running out in the nasty cold!

    Warm, stylish leggings

    • Size Bought: Medium

I just got these and they're awesome! They are super warm. I wore them outside at 5AM this weekend and I was able to stay warm. They fit true to size. They fit snug everywhere, but aren't too tight around the ankle, which is nice. You could wear these to work out in, I'd probably only recommend buying them for outdoor uses though. You might get hot inside.

    I live in these

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these leggings so much. As an environmental educator who is outside all day, I wear these almost every day in the (Georgia) winter. I get cold fairly easily and I'd say these keep me comfortable between 40-55 degrees, maybe high 30s if I'm moving around a lot. To me they're not warm enough by themselves for 30s and below, but are great with a shell on top. They also look great with boots and a nice top if you get the solid black pair! Another plus is that these leggings do not stretch out. Ever. It's amazing. I'm 5'2 and 118 with hips and I got a medium which is super comfortable in the waist but if these leggings were prone to stretching, I would have gotten a small. One note: these leggings run super long and I had to hem mine. It was worth it.

    Like it so far

Just got this today. I've been out in 33 degree weather with it on. I got it mainly to wear as everyday leggings not as a base layer. It keeps me pretty warm as long as I'm active as in keeping my legs moving. Otherwise, I did get a little chilly. It fits great. I'm 5'2 and 115 lbs and ordered xs.

    Perfect Fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I think the product runs true to size, but it depends what you like. I normally would buy M size pants (5'6" 130 lbs) but for leggings, I like them to be tighter rather than looser and the S fit perfect (even squeezing my sprained ankle in the bottom). I live in UT and have been using these leggings in 20-50 degree weather. They are pretty warm, and like the description says it keeps you warm. If using for snowboarding or skiing, make sure your snowpants are warm enough, thinner snow pants may not be warm enough in a blizzard.

    Awesome, no bulk

Just got these in the mail and am wearing them right now .They are streamlined and very soft on the inside. I am 5'6 and 140, I ordered the small and they are true to size as long as you base your decision on your measurements. They look great and feel wonderful. Im going to be living in Steamboat, CO this winter so Im considering ordering another pair.
