This is great gear. Working as a k9 Handler I wore this under my uniform top during night tracking training in the woods and was very comfortable and stayed warm during our scenarios. Don’t think about it. Just add it to your cart and complete the order.

Warm and durable
This was warm and durable. It kept me warm in the Alaska cold winter. I wish it had the thumb holes like on the ladies though…these are awkward!

Warm and comfy
This product is awesome. I wasn't expecting it to keep me as warm as it did. It's thicker than most of my so called cold weather gear. It fits tight but doesn't bother my skin like the others.

These use to be the best but they have changed
I have older pairs of these that had a square grid pattern that were wicked warm. The ones I have are covered in holes from a lot of use but at some point they changed these and they are not nearly as warm or thick as the old 4.0. Please bring back that old square grid, they weee so warm.

Great base layer
I use these as next to skin layer, wool as next layer and cotton FR hoodie as top layer and Im warm down to neg 20 with 0 18 mph wind, no coat. Hard use in ND oil fields and these are still going strong. I own at least 10 pairs of the 4 0. Every good hand I know owns a set of the 4 0. Australian minus 55 Meranio wool is irreplaceable, but combined with 4 0, is a cold weather life hack. Size runs small, normally wear L but with 4 0 I use XL

Great gear
I have and own several brands of long johns as I am often outside for work and hunting. I reluctantly bought the 4.0 top and bottom to see if the reviews were for real. Well, it does, so I now own 2 sets!

I currently own a older base model (about 5 to 6 years old) that does not have the rating on it. and a newer model base layer about two years old what would be the difference between what I have and the new product?
