Your boundless backcountry strolls require some serious footwear like the Tubbs Men's Xpedition Showshoe. Its Pro-Step frame is long and low enough for improved flotation over fluffy powder, and it bends continuously to reduce impact on your joints so you can walk farther and for a longer time. The R2 Revolution Response pivot system also reduces the impact by absorbing shocks with its lateral flex, and the quick side slope response maintains a natural foot position for long-lasting comfort. If you travel frequently or just have limited car space, the lower height nose helps you pack this snowshoe up without sacrificing as much space that you would with conventional snowshoes.
While the Grappler heel cleat's serrated tooth design offers weighted traction under your heel, the Cobra toe crampon gives constant contact regardless of the snowy terrain, and its jagged tooth construction improves grip over hardpack and ice for both uphill and downhill endeavors. The Xpedition also features a ReAct binding system that's easy to use, gender specific, comfortable, secure, and stable. The SoftTec Decking provides durable flotation that leaves the snowshoe surprisingly lightweight. And the ActiveLift 19-degree heel lift reduces calf fatigue and Achilles tendon strain on the extreme steeps out there in the beautiful backcountry.
