I got these for my husband and here is what he had to say "This snow shoe is great. the bindings are highly adjustable and will fit any boot! The straps tighten down securely and dont move much on your boot. I am 5’9” and wear a size 8 boot and have the 30” snowshoes they fit my boot but are a little big when walking threw narrow trail but preform great in fresh powder"

I don't have this specific shoe, but wanted to give some praise to Tubbs for customer service. I've got a 2004 model Altitude series shoe, and the binding broke and needed replacement. That specific binding was no longer available (not surprising), but they said a newer model binding would be able to be retrofit onto the shoe. They sent me the bindings for FREE!!! This was completely unexpected for something so old, and I would have happily paid for them. This is just awesome customer service to stand behind your product like this...and I'll definitely be buying Tubbs for my wife, as well as recommending to others.

These are great all conditions snow shoes. Heel risers work great for the steeper terrain and the bindings are fantastic: super easy in and out with just a single clip buckle. Good traction on the icier stuff and good float for the softer stuff.

If you are looking for a lightweight, durable and comfortable snowshoe, these are them! The bindings are easy to get in and out of. The crampons are made from carbon steel which offers premium durability that grip ice and hard snow.

I was really happy with these. They went up and downhill really well, hardly ever kicked snow back at me, and I was never hitting my ankles or stepping on top of them.

These snowshoes are great all around snowshoes. the heel raiser works great when climbing steeper slopes. They don't seem to slip at all. The 180 degree pro binding works great. You can get in and out of the bindings very fast. One buckle and your in. When you get the bindings fit to your boots you don't have to adjust anything just slip your foot in and you walking. Great snowshoe for not a big dent in your wallet.
Zach Perrywhat would be the best snow show for park city, utah. I want to be able to use it in all terrain. New to snowshoeing but athletic. grip is important to me and would like a snow shoe I could use on areas with powder but also "run" with on more packed terrain. Also, can I use my ski polls for snow snowshoeing? I was looking at the Tubbs Flex (leaning to the trek model versus the alp), Tubbs Expedition, and MSR lightning. I am wondering if utah has too much powder for Tubbs Flex... I don't plan on carrying weight or camping.... day exploring/exercise all over the terrain. Is there a lesser priced shoe that would work for my needs? Grip and side stepping feel important (I am 5'8, 125 without snow gear and 31yrs old) --- I could be in powder, on an icy hill, or semi packed hill or groomed areas all in the same day.

At that weight I'd recommend the 30" if he won't be carrying a pack with extra gear. If he'll be carrying extra gear then the 36" are the way to go.

The best way to size snowshoes is based on your weight as that'll impact the float of the snowshoe.
