Hit the trail or trek through the backcountry in your Tubbs Men's Wilderness Series Snowshoes, outfitted with the 180 Binding System for convenience, comfort, and control. Tubbs designed the Wilderness snowshoes for easy entry, so you can get started on your adventure without delay. The 180 binding fits snugly around the front of your foot and heel for a secure stride, while compact stainless-steel teeth on the ball of your feet grip ice and hard snow. Heel crampons help when you descend or traverse on sloped terrain, and the lightweight, 6000-series aluminum frame swings separately from the binding to release snow build up with every step. The Wilderness' strong ArcTec Plus decking is puncture- and abrasion-resistant, provides stable float in all types of snow, and remains flexible down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Bottom Line: The Tubbs Wilderness Series Snowshoes—like water wings for powder hounds.

Hey there. I am an currently living in the mountains of Vermont, and am an avid snowboarder. I have just recently, in the past few seasons, been exploring what the green mountains really have to offer, and have been venturing into the backcountry off many of the mountains. It's time that i got some snow shoes, but i need ones that will be able to fit snowboard boots into the binding. There is usually pretty deep snow, and sometimes steep and challenging terrain. just curious if anyone has any suggestions for a new pair of snowshoes. could these specific ones do the trick?

How does the Wilderness series differ from other Tubbs models?

How does the Wilderness series differ from other Tubbs models? Also, I've been looking at the MSR Denali Evo Ascent models. Which should I go with?

The "Wilderness Series" snowshoes are considered for day hiking. They have a different frame, binding, & deck than the back country or trail snowshoes. The flotation is supposedly best with the back country series & the crampons are all different. It basically comes down to what your purpose is in the back country to make your selection.
