A thoughtfully designed snowshoe for tweens.

Disconnect your tween from his or her cell or computer and reconnect with the beauty of the mountains with the Tubbs Kids' Glacier Snowshoes. Completely redesigned, the Glacier features a simple tightening and locking buckle on the QuickLock binding system that makes getting in and out of the Glacier's a cinch while also providing all-day stability and control. Its Fit Step aluminum frame features a slightly upturned, rounded tail to reduce muscular skeletal impact on hips, knees, and ankle joints by 10%. Equipped with a Fixed toe cord pivot system, the Glacier offers an efficient stride over flat and rolling terrain in packed snow conditions while keeping the snowshoe close to the foot for maximum response. In addition, its Recreational crampon has front and rear braking teeth for a secure grip uphill, downhill, and side hill in packed snow conditions.

    Wife really loves them

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My 100-lb wife insisted on getting these kids snowshoes for herself - against my better judgment. She absolutely loves them and I've seen her successfully negotiate all kinds of snowy terrain, including steep pitches. So what do I know?
