Hit the trail running, even after (or during) a blizzard with the Tubbs Men's Flex NRG Snowshoes. Tubbs gave the Flex NRG its patented Soft Strike Zone under the heel of the binding to make your hike easier on your joints.

  • Micro-serrated 3D-curved traction rails add stability and grip in rugged terrain
  • FlexTail absorbs the shock of repeated heel strike
  • Gender-specific 180FLEX bindings offer step-in convenience, light weight and stability for safety

Bottom Line: Go farther with less pain.

Hey there, the length of snowshoe needed is determined by the max weight to be used on them, you and gear... Each mfg will have different specs but rule of thumb is:
25" = 120-200lbs
30" = 170-250lbs
36" = 220-300lbs

Awesome Crampons

I refer to the crampons on these snowshoes as the "Crampons of Justice" They cover the bottom of the snowshoes nearly from tip to tail and weave a bit to keep them from being in a strait line and just becoming strait blades. The place where these really shine is on steep terrain where you need a good grip on the hillside. Those same crampons can be a tiny bit of a pain on a packed trail where they catch a bit on the snow when walking forward. This keeps them from sliding forward. The other thing I like about these is that they don't flip snow up on your back or backs of your legs. Not a big deal most of the time, but it can sometimes make you a bit wet and cold when using other snowshoes.

Hi there,

I was wondering if you have a similar product for women? It should fit a person with a size 5 shoes.

Thank you,

I'm looking for a hiking snowshoe for my husband who does a great deal of hiking mostly on packed trails. He has a pair of shoes that he uses that are made more for deeper snow. Would the Flex NRG shoe be what I'm looking for?

yeah these are awesome. THey feel on packed powder as if you are just hiking. The bindings don't slip and the rocker in the toe adds to a natural feel. If you are not on packed snow you do sink but it isn't that bad. I think these are awesome for packed and OK for off trail. The side spikes help you from not sliding sideways. Way better then Atlas for binding and stability
