Troy Lee Designs' multi-purpose Skyline Women's Shorts receive a cut that fits your shape for excellent comfort on the trail. The Skyline's main body is made with a two-way stretch, lightweight breathable polyester/spandex blend, so you won't ever feel it bind while you ride.
A large stretch panel at the back gives you even more freedom of movement, and the fabric lets your skin breathe while also wicking moisture away. Pockets are located on the sides of the legs so you can't feel the contents while you pedal, and belt loops allow you to dial in the fit.
Troy Lee Designs' Skyline Women's Shorts are available in sizes from Small to X-Large, and they come in Turquoise and Black.

I really like these shorts. I think the big selling factor is the fabric - light, soft and stretchy with enough structure that it doesn't show unflattering spandex bike lines. I got the turquoise color and it's really vibrant. They are also quite cool in Utah's hot weather.
My biggest/only beef with these shorts is the wait band. It seems to pinch a bit, and these shorts are by no means too small for me. Seems like there is just too much elastic with the side elastic and also elastic running the entirety of the waist. This is decreasing with each wear, so I'm hoping it will be a non-issue in a few more washes/wears.
I've had a difficult time finding comfortable bike shorts that don't make me feel like I'm wearing a garbage bag over a diaper, so these shorts are close to perfect for me. Minus the elastic issue I'd give them 5 stars.

The rise was too high for my liking (and my "pear" shape). If you're into the high rise, these might be good for you, but I find anything with a higher waist to be extremely uncomfortable for anything, let alone bending at the waist to ride a bike. They did have great coverage in back if you're worrying about plumbers crack that definitely won't be a problem.
I'm also not a fan of any elastic waist bands, but since these just have two small patches of elastic on the sides, I thought I would give them a chance thinking it might be helpful with the fit. But it turns out these shorts have a thick elastic band lining the entire waist. If you're worried about keeping your shorts up, I'm sure it's quite helpful. On the other hand, I found it too thick and uncomfortable. It would have been better to ditch both the full inner elastic and the scrunched elastic look on the side for some hidden elastic velcro tabs and a smooth waist band. Maybe next year's model?
Another plus is the fabric and construction seemed very durable and well put together.
Overall I did not like the fit and decided to return them.
