Troy Lee was originally involved in motocross. As DH bikes became more and more like lightweight motocross bikes, the transition from moto to pedal was natural. Because of their background with huge travel, high speeds, and big, nasty crashes, Troy Lee designers build apparel that protects you and stands up to tons of abuse. The SE Pro line is a collection of TLD's toughest gear. The SE Pro Corse Jersey lives up to its name with super tough fabric and sewn-in elbow pads to take the edge off the occasional digger.

To build its top-of-the-line SE Pro Corse Jersey, Troy Lee starts with tough, lightweight polyester mesh body. This stretchy material is extremely durable and won't limit your range of motion. Ventilated mesh sleeves promote airflow to keep you cool while the polyester fabric wicks moisture away from your skin. Troy Lee also included a gel print on the tail to keep the jersey in place while you ride, and a four-way stretch comfort collar keeps the collar from binding on your neck no matter what kind of contorted tweak you perform in mid-air.

Even with all this innovative design, our favorite features are the sewn-in elbow pads. We've never liked the constricting feeling of conventional elbow pads. When the pads are sewn into your jersey, you don't have anything wrapped around your arms. They are certainly more comfortable, especially on rides where you have to climb as well as descend. We aren't saying that these pads are a substitute for conventional elbow guards, especially during fast, technical, lift-access downhill riding, but they are definitely a help and a great alternative for folks who absolutely hate elbow guards.
