This may be the last pair of shorts you’ll ever need to buy. Troy Lee Designs made the Moto Short with super-tough 600-denier polyester, so it will be here long after we’re gone and our society is in ruins.

The cut is baggy enough to work with DH pads, but slim enough that pedaling won't be a problem. Troy Lee also added spandex crotch and seat panels for extra mobility, a full mesh liner to help with breathability, and a ratcheting waist belt so you can get the fit exactly how you like it.

The convenient cargo pockets have plenty of room for your multi-tool and a snack, and they won’t interfere with your movement or your saddle whether you’re climbing or hammering downhill. Troy Lee added hook-and-loop closure to the pockets because he heard you had your backflip dialed and he didn’t want your stuff spraying all over the landing. There’s even a reflective detail on the back of the leg to make you more visible in traffic on the ride home.

Durable DH Shorts

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 170 lbs
    Size Purchased: 32

These are super burly but are also hot. I would not recommend for ride outside of DH. They do have some removable pads over the hips but I'll be honest not sure they're going to do much in a crash. Great below the knee length though.
