Who says a good paddling has to be a pain in the butt?
- Item #TRV0022
- Q & A
One worked, the other not so much.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
We bought 2 chairs for our 54 mile canoe trip, fully expecting that a trip of that length would be tough on our equipment. It was disappointing that one of our 2 chairs snapped and broke in the first day of the trip, which wasn't the strenuous. Having to pad the back of the one chair with a life vest the rest of the 40 miles we had to go was kind of a bummer, but the other chair held up just fine so I feel mixed about this review. Good quality, but may not last on longer trips.
Great for relaxing in the canoe
The chair itself is comfy and great for leaning back and relaxing. It does not offer much back support when paddling though. Went to Lake Powell and paddled over 10 miles and my back barely touched the chair back. We are planning on doing a float trip later this summer and these will work perfect. Easy on and off is nice.
Great Canoe Chair!
I bought this chair to take on a multi-day canoe trip down the Green River in Utah and am delighted that I brought it. Its adjustable, easily straps on to the seat and has an adjustable lumbar support. Great chair!
I love this product. Bought it about 3 months ago and use it all the time. I sit on it in my car on the way to work. i take it with me while I am kayaking the cool waters. I take it to my highschool son's football games. I know it is marketing as a "paddler" chair but it should be marketed as the best chair ever for a middle aged woman!!! Great use for everyone. I would recommend this chair to anyone.
Do I need to buy straps to attach this to my canoe seat, or does the seat come with one?
