Commuter Bike is a Go

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I strapped both the rear and front fenders of these onto my commuter bike and they work very nicely. Particularly, the front fender is lightweight and incredibly easy to attach and to remove. thus although these were made for mountain biking, they work well and get the job done for commuter bikes too. Definitely worth your time if you want to ride around on a nice and pretty bike despite poor weather conditions.

Didn't fit

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Seems nice for the price but did not fit the forks on either my Specialized 29incher nor Trek 7.3.

Topeak Defender Fenders

These worked out GREAT on my Trek bike. They were easy to install, lightweight and makes my bike look more sporty. Now I can ride without the mud all over me. Make sure you look at the price as well..............GREAT price and a good product.

Break lines

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Have it on a 29er. Live on a rainy AK island, and it is definitely a huge help. The only problem i have is that there is not enough space between the front piece and the fork for the break line so it has to run beside the fender and pushes it a bit to one side- which lets a bit more of the sludge launch right into the air where my mouth/face/eyes/nose are all about to be... But does a pretty good job, and once it was really tightened into the fork, it hasnt moved..
