Not Bad, Not Great

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

I've had this watch for about a year. After about 4 months the stem fell out randomly. Thankfully, I live near a Timex service center and they replaced my watch under warranty. The new watch hasn't had any problems as of yet.

The watch is quite heavy and the altimeter is not the most accurate.

Cool product, right price

It's a little heavy, but it's an analog altimeter watch, so you can be a snob at all the people with digital ones. I like it.

Not that bad

I have had this watch for about 4 months and i have had no problums yet. figuring out the correct way to read the altimeter took awhile but once i did it was pretty good. One thing is though each hour tick is marked with a constent glow at night, but the hands are not so at night when you need the time and you dont want a super bright light in your face...... well i guess you just dont get the Time.

Dont buy

This watch is terrible. The altimeter is completely inaccurate and the action hand stopped returning to the 12 o'clock position after about a week. I never even wore this watch, it just sat on my kitchen table and it still broke! Lame.

Maybe one of us can salvage a watch. (at least until the band breaks)

Junk

I bought the Timex Expedition and the stem fell out after about 6 days of use.

Timex will not replace the stem. The watch is useless.

Responded on

You can get a new stem from Timex. All Timex products come with a one year warranty so you can return to the place of purchase and receive a replacement watch. Beyond 1 year you can return directly to Timex for repair at 800-448-4639.

I use to love the timex watches

the watch is great, but the band will not hold up, and then there is no place to buy a new one. So now I have a pocketwatch

Responded on

You can get replacement watchbands directly from TIMEX at 800-448-4639.
