Great Camera Bag

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I did a lot of research on camera bags prior to purchasing, and have previously used a canon backpack, as well as a number of different lowepro bags - all of which probably have their place, but as a daily bag for carting around a camera body, a few lenses, a tablet or small (and thin) laptop, and any other small daily needs, this thing takes the cake.

It lives up to it's "Snoop" name without question as it looks like a typical messenger bag , while hiding a days worth of gear. I have, on numerous occasions, fit a canon 7D body, 50mm prime lens, 17-50 zoom, and a 55-250 zoom, along with batteries, a charger and other small accessories and a tablet into the bag with ease - although that comes close to maxing out the capacity of the inside of the bag for reference.

The quality is great. Super tough bag that seems like it could take on most anything that you would encounter in a day of shooting with the exception of being submersed in a body of water. Nice velcro and buckle closure which keeps things super secure.

I've used this bag as a camera bag, a carry on (has a great easy access "secret" pocket for passport, and boarding passes without needing to open the main compartment of the bag), and a general weekend bag with the camera padding removed.

I would suggest this bag to anyone bombing around the city with a fairly light camera setup (body and 2 or 3 smaller lenses, or a body and 1 larger lens), anyone who bikes everywhere and takes a camera everywhere, and for anyone looking for a ridiculously durable, long-lasting, general use messenger bag, that might want a great excuse to take an SLR camera with them once in awhile.

All around great buy - will replace it immediately if the thing ever wears out (which i am not anticipating happening - probably ever. . )
