Yes, you still enjoy the classic bag’s near-boundless cargo space, bomber construction (we dare you to tear it), and comfortable cross-shoulder strap. And you still get handy internal organizer pockets to keep your wallet and keys find-able, plus the classic messenger’s easy-access swig-around-your-shoulder design. But the added radness of these unique prints? You can’t put a price on that.

I have heard that this bag can work as a cooler, but have not tried it out yet. Has anyone else tried this yet? Figured I would ask before I potentially damage my bag...

Sorry, but the cooler model was called the Dolores. It was a spec. edition produced about 2 years ago. Most Timbuk2 messenger bags use a waterproof material, but they are not sealed (will leak like a sieve through the seams) and are not insulated. If you can find a Dolores, it was an awesome pack!

This bag has been awesome! I just throw my stuff in it, sling it around my shoulder, and head out on my bike. It's big enough to hold my laptop and three textbooks with rather ease. As far as the reflective stripe goes...I have not had any close calls with cars, so it must be doing the trick.

After checking out a few less costly brands, I came across this Timbuk2 classic, with a little bonus stripe for those who may take to the streets after dark. Stoked on the sale price and really impressed with the craftsmanship and durable materials. No laptop sleeve on this one, but no problem as there are multiple organizers/pockets on the inside and a waterproof zipper w/ behind slip-pocket just under the flap. I wasn't sure about the stripe at first, but I've come to appreciate the added safety when walking, riding, skating after dark. It's not too big for everyday and was perfect as a carry-on for my latest flight.
