The wife bought this for her Macbook Pro for extra protection inside her Patagonia Half Mass. This is great for that or for just protecting your precious computer from the dog when she's inside. It's got a tough nylon exterior, good stiff cushioning, and ultra soft/durable corduroy inside. Great product.

That depends on the physical dimensions of your Dell. A lot of Dell's I've seen are monsterous beheamoths, whereas the XL size pack is designed to accommodate the thin, svelte, and substantially lighter MacBook Pro.Take a look at your specific laptop's dimensions and you'll be able to figure it out. Good luck!t looks to be too small for a 17" laptop.
