BFD? Big friendly duffel? Big fastidious duffel? ... that can't be right.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I love this duffel for travel. I got the medium and I can fit everything I need in it for two weeks on the road. Not a lot of pockets, internal or external, to fuss with. 1 mesh pocket on the inside of the lid. There is a Like most timbuk2 products this is well built, very durable. Shoulder strap is functional, versatile and comfortable. Handles all over this thing, grab where you like. Compression straps make it easier to secure your gear. The duffel folds into itself into a convenient flat square for storage purposes.
Was between this and the north face base camp, bought this one as it was on sale and happy i did.
Fits a lot of stuff, pocket on the lid, and sides are very useful. The material seems very durable and i tested and it is quite water resistant, though doesn't seem it at first glace (why I tested).
The strap is comfortable and disconnects easily. The zippers are large and durable. It also packs up very small for storage which the base camp bag does not do.
I would recommend to a friend.

New favorite duffel
I used to be a diehard North Face Basecamp Duffel user. But when my last one got stollen, I thought I'd try something new. This one holds tons of stuff (size M) and it is so much lighter weight. I totally notice the difference when carrying it for a long time. As an added benefit it packs up into its own pocket so it takes up so much less room in my closet. I don't know about the long-term durability in comparison to the NF duffel, but so far so good. I am not going back to the heavy bulky duffel anytime soon.
