Tote your ride to and from the trailhead without breaking the bank thanks to the Thule Prologue Bike Mount. This fork-mounting rack features a super-secure, dual-lock mechanism that locks both the bike to the carrier and the carrier to your rack. Cheap

I had the handle on one of mine break the past weekend. Have you ever tried to unhook a bike from a rack without a handle? It's hard! Also, I'm not the biggest fan of roof racks anymore. Other than putting a surf board on top a bike should be on the back. It will save you gas money too.

Secure for any bike.

This mount is very durable, simple to use and holds the bike firmly in place. Will work with any square or round bar(no factory aero design type). My bike is a MTB 29er and fits perfectly. The only down point is that the locks are not included.

is this rack compatible with the Thule rapid Aero type of load bars?

Responded on

Looks like "no". I'm researching this since I just bought the Aero blades for my Jeep. It looks like you need the Xadpt9 adapter to fit it to the Aero blades, which is anywhere from $9-$15 online. Sorry for the very late reply.
