Hey Mick,

It's not recommended for the Fit Sport of with the optional spoiler. A roof rack or hitch rack are your only options. This is the same not only for the Thule racks, but all others that mount this way.

Hi PJ,

Thanks for the question. I checked with Thule to see if the Thule Passage 2 Bike Strap Rack w/ Cradles will fit with the 2 door, 2012 Honda Civic & the 2012 Sonata and I did see that this bike rack does fit with both vehicles.

I have a Nissan Xterra, which has factory installed sports racks and no trailor hitch which was a bummer. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a bike rack nor wanted a roof rack, but I was moving to Colorado from Florida and needed something durable to transport my road bike. I was skeptical of this type of rack on an SUV, but it actually worked out fine! It was super easy to install and made it the whole way from FL to CO fine. At one point, I could notice the bike shaking more than usual and when I stopped it was because one of the bottom straps had come undone, so make sure they are tightly secure in place before you drive away. But overall, its a great product and I like that it is easy to take on and off. The only bad thing about that is that it might be easier to steal if you leave it unattended for a long ride.

After the initial installation, it's a breeze! I first thought it was way too many straps and attachments. Taking on and off is easy and quick. I havent used 2 bikes on it yet but I'm sure it would be fine.

"Thule states that their trunk mount bike racks will fit. The Passage is available in 2 or 3 bike capacities, part # TH910 XT and TH911XT, respectively. The Speedway is also available for 2 or 3 bikes. Those part #s are TH961XT and TH962XT. The Speedway uses upgraded cradles to secure the bike to the rack.

Just a caution, make sure you DO NOT use the rear wiper while the rack is installed." Mike L. - etrailer
