    Great for a Land Cruiser

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I mounted a rooftop tent on my 80 series Land Cruiser and they're the perfect fit. They keep the tent low to the roof without raising the overall height of the already dinosaur sized truck anymore than necessary. They install in minutes and hold everything in place. even after 250 miles of dirt road.
    Highly recommended.

works for Jeep Wrangler 98-06 as well

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This set up has worked for 12 years on my 2000 Wrangler w/ the stock Hard top. I installed an artificial gutter (Thule sold separately) to mount the back bar with these feet, and the front mount to the hardtop above the front door. Not a lot of room for the door however, as it has worn away all of the paint on top of the door where the bracket grabs the gutter. It was adhoc, recommended to me 12 years ago by a ski shop owner w/ a Jeep. Overall, and considering the rack system alternatives for the vehicle, I'm really happy having gone this route.

Fits my Toyota Corolla 2001 LE

I used it to carry two snowboards from Springfield, IL to Twin Lakes, WI and had no issues.

Unfortunately, locks for each foot will cost at least another $60. I felt super paranoid leaving it assembled in Chicago, so it was kind of a hassle to remove it and then put it back on again later.

The foot back, combined with the load bars and the snowboard clamps cost a pretty penny but I think it'll pay itself off in the long run. Before I bought my rack, I could only carry one board in my sedan's backseat and one maybe two passengers who would have to be renting, haha. Now I can carry two boards and 4 passengers. Ah! Convenience!

      great rack

i love this rack. it fits on easily and you can easily slide it along the length of the car to fit your needs. i used it to carry both my bike and skis, so its a great year round rack. no matter whats on it, as long as you tighten it down its not going anywhere
