Thule Load Stops act as bookends on your Thule rack system, adding lateral stability to whatever you happen to toss across your bars. Lumber, boats, ladders and anything else you choose to put on tops can benefit from load stops. To secure your load, you can run Thule Load Straps [THU0061] through the stops and tie down your cargo.

do these slide on the bar or do they clamp on. In other words
do these slide on the bar or do they clamp on. In other words would I have to take off my bike holders and bars to slide these on or can I put them on and off as I need simply?

No you will not need to slide these onto the bar. Just place them were you want them, then tighten the bolt. Installation instructions are available at:
