Description

Your favorite team's team favorite.

Considering Thirty Two has one of the most stacked teams in the industry, saying that the Men's TM-Two Snowboard Boot is a team favorite is kind of a big deal. It features reliable traditional lacing and a medium-stiff flex that's supportive enough for sending big park jumps and heading into the backcountry, yet still flexible enough for throwing down on rails and jibs.

The Intuition liner is also heat-moldable to provide a custom fit, and a molded Evolution foam insole ensures all-day comfort. System G2 gel cushioning protects your heels from harsh impacts and smooths out the ride. The high-density Evolution Foam outsole also improves cushioning, and it's much lighter than rubber to reduce weight without sacrificing grip so you can still boot up icy stairways and rocky ridges.

Boss man gives it ThirtyTwo thumbs up!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

The thirtytwo TM2 are by far the best boots I've ever ridden! They fit great right out of the box but I would definitely recommend you get them heat molded at a shop if you have a wider foot. They hold up great for all sorts of riding. I've ridden them in the streets and then proceeded to hit regular park features and large jumps without missing a beat! The guys at thirtytwo have really outdone themselves with this one!

Comfy but Lacking in durability

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Once these boots are broken in or heat molded they are great. I have been riding these since Mid December.

The reason that I only gave 3 stars is due to the fact that Mid February the top Lace loop broke off, snapped, this also happened on my last pair of TM-Two boots but that was after the boots had at least 150 days on the hill.
Should not have to worry about something like this when I lace the boots tight.

Diggin' em.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is my first pair of ThirtyTwo boots after hearing countless friends/riders talk them up. And I can definitely see why! I absolutely loved my Vans Hi-Standards, but the TM-Two takes the cake. The anti-heel lift cups are a sweet feature, and I am really liking how much padding is in the boot. They are pretty stiff so it makes your board feel really responsive. I wear a 10.5 in Vans shoes, I ordered the 10.5 and the 11 in the TM-Two and went with the 10.5

i heard the stevens model tm-two is a tad stiffer than the other colorways this season. scotty supposedly has bad ankles and asked thirty-two to stiffen his model up a bit. any truth to this?

Responded on

No. He does have bad ankles but the boot itself is rather stiff. There is not difference in his model other than the color-way.

How do 32s usually fit? Are they generally true to size? I usually wear a 11.5 in Nike street shoes and was wondering if I should go with a 11.5 in this boot or if I should try a 12

Best Answer Responded on

Not sure if you got an answer yet but I wear a 9.5 Nike SB and am a size 10 in Thirty Two boots.
A 9.5 in the boots is way too snug for my liking.

Responded on

I have these. I wear an 11.5 sneaker, I bought an 11.5 boot. I should have went for the 12. They a bit too small for me.

Responded on

So you would say get the same size as shoes or a little bigger, it's tough for me because I have a 13 shoe

Great boot for all types of riding

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've always been a fanboy of ThirtyTwo's and this is my first time on the TM-Two. I used to ride the lashed but switched to this for something a bit more stiff, as I kept yanking my ankles a lot in a softer boot. These have been so much better as far as keeping my heel down. I can ride in these all day and still have comfy toasty feet!

One super nice feature that isn't mentioned above is that the liner has a slot on each side of the ankle where you can insert some thin foam rings to help lock in a tighter fit around your lower leg/ankle. I have some skinnier legs so I maxed out the inserts and it fits really snug, which is perfect. You can also buy toe caps that go inside the liner too for an even better fit, unfortunately they don't come standard here. The liner rings did come with the boots though!

I wear a size 11.5 street shoe (vans) and got an 11.5 boot, fits pretty much the same. My street shoe fits almost exactly the length of my foot so I didn't want anything tighter cranking on my big toe.

Great Boot!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked these up at the end of last year, and have to say they are a great boot. I was using the Lashed before I bought these, and love the feel of these way more. The stiffness is just right. If you do get these make sure to get the liners heat molded to your foot; it speeds up the break in process, and I would size up a half size from what your normal shoe size is.

Best boots on the market

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

With these things it was love at first sight. I had been wearing boa boots for a couple seasons and was ready to head back to laces. I had been hearing great things about 32 for years, so i decided to give them a try. Turns out the word on the street was true, these things are straight up incredible. I have wide feet, so, as with every boot I've had, it was tough getting my foot in for the initial wears. But as soon as i got my feet in, i knew i had made the right choice. They were a little tight across the board (pun intended) initially, but they packed out subtley and perfectly, not giving too much but giving the perfect amount of breathing room all over. But even more impressive than the perfect fit was the performance. The term all-mountain doesnt begin to describe these boots. Backcountry, park, groomers, trees, flats, fast laps, slow cruisers, the tm-2s are perfectly responsive yet forgiving and comfortable in all situations. I bought them halfway through the season last year so i only got to put 50 or 60 days on them, but i have a feeling these things are in for the long haul.

Fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been in the Thirty Two Lashed since 2010. They fit my feet perfectly and performed better than any boot I owned prior. Just picked up the new TM-Two and was a little nervous to go up to the Level 3 liner (lashed have Level 2) I had heard that the fit changed a little from one to the other. Couldn't have been more wrong. These things fit perfectly for me out of the box. Toes lay flat and just touch the front of the liner (as they pack out they will give your piggies more room), tight around the ankle and calf with unreal heal hold (as I lunge and jump around my living room).

This is an initial review of just the fit on my feet. It doesn't guarantee that they will fit you perfectly since everyone is different. If you have enjoyed wearing Thirty Two boots in the past there's a good chance you'll like these as well.

I wear US size 10 in my street shoe and US 10.5 in Thirty Two.
