Hard-charging is an understatement.

The light weight and ultimate response of the Thirty Two Prime snowboard boot have made it a legend in its own time. As Thirty Two's stiffest boot, it's tailor made for riders who thrive on exposed lines, gigantic airs, and critical moves. It runs on Thirty Two's top-of-the-line Level 3 liner. That means it's heat moldable, it uses dual density foam for a perfect fit, and there's a molded footbed that cradles your foot. The STI foam outsole saves tons of weight over an old school rubber sole, and it's proven to be durable for hiking, sledding, skinning, and anything else you can put the Prime through. A heel hold kit is included to make sure your feet stay put when you've got to nail that life-or-death turn. Exposed System G2 Gel in the heel damps chatter on mach-loony crusty run-outs. If your whole season revolves around finding and sending insane lines, this is your boot.

Just not stiff enough

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

My K2 T1's fell apart in just a few months so I replaced them with the Primes. They were super comfy and looked really cool, but they werent stiff enough. more like a 7 than a 10. Went ahead and exchanged them for the K2 Thraxis and I couldnt be more pleased. If you want stiff and super adjustable and comfy, get the Thraxis. I'm 5'9 220. I ride 70 days a year.
