Description

The Boa twist on snowboarding's favorite boot.

Thirty Two took the best-selling Lashed and add dual Boa dials to create the Men's Binary Boa Snowboard Boot for riders who don't have time for laces. The dual Boa closure splits the boot into two zones, so you can crank down on your feet to keep them planted, and dial in the tension up top for fine-tuned flex. It has a medium-to-stiff flex, depending on how hard you choose to crank down the dials, so you can tackle everything from park jibs to powder runs, and an articulating cuff gives you extra freedom to tweak grabs and balance presses without sacrificing support.

The Level 2 Intuition liner is heat-moldable for a custom fit, and a molded EVA insole cushions your feet for all-day comfort. High-density Evolution Foam in the outsole also improves cushioning, and it's much lighter than rubber to reduce weight without sacrificing grip so you can still bootpack up icy slopes and rocky ridges. If your idea of an ideal day on the hill is riding anything and everything that comes your way, you just found your boot.

  • Level 2 heat-moldable Intuition liner
  • Medium-to-stiff flex

Very Nice purchase...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Initially i was a little frustrated with the stiffness of the boots but they are breaking in nicely. I ride strictly park/rails and approx 30x times per season in NJ. I would definitely recommended going to a dealer or trying to help heat molding them yourself as recommended by 32, otherwise they will seem a little uncomfortable until they are broken in. they fit very very snug and are true to size. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that the front boa is a coiler but the side boa is not. You would think for a few extra pennies that 32 would have just put identical boa system. Banging into rails i tend to break them sometimes and not i have to stock different parts.

Tried these on in store and felt a little too stiff. The Lashed felt ok but feel they'll get too soft. I ride all mountain except park but freestyle here and there. Will the Binary's pack out noticeably?
Go with the Binary or the Lashed? Thanks!
