If you spend most of your days buttering boxes, sliding rails, and spinning off jumps, then you're sure to love the skateboarding-inspired freedom of the ThirtyTwo Women's 86 FT Snowboard Boot. Taking design inspiration from your favorite skate kicks, this boot offers plenty of flexibility for tweaking grabs and getting loose on jibs.
The Fast Track lacing system makes it quick and easy to get in and out of your boots, and it won't slip, so you never have to stop and adjust the tightness mid-run. The 86 FT also features an internal lacing system that keeps your heel locked down for better response and reduced fatigue. An articulating cuff prevents the shell from breaking down over the course of the season, and the performance backstay channels energy for enhanced response.
The Level 1 Intuition liner is heat-moldable for a custom fit, and a molded EVA footbed cushions your feet for all-day comfort. Plus, the footbed features a Sherpa fleece lining for a soft, cozy feel. Finally, an aggressive tread on the durable rubber sole helps you maintain traction on icy steps and sketchy hikes.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I purchased a second set of ThirtyTwo boots since the first time i got my actual size and they ran small. I went ahead and got them in HALF a size larger (both for me and my girlfriend) and we both felt it was still too small. I am a 9 and she is a 6.5 normally, I got the 9.5 and a 7 for us and we will have to return them now for a FULL SIZE LARGER. I went with half a size larger since the previous reviewer said it worked fine for them but it still didn't work for us.
The look of the boots is incredible (very casual look) and the 86's actually feel sturdy even though they have the most flex of the line.
I will be updating my review when i get the full size larger as I have not been able to try these in the mountains yet (No comment of active performance).
Cozy! But fits small.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I normally wear a size 8 street shoe in women's and have an old pair of 32 snowboard boots that are size 9 that are too big so I bought size 8 in these to try. They were just a touch too small with my toes touching enough that I know a long day on the board will not be comfortable so I ordered 8.5 to try.
BUT they were too comfy to give up so I gifted to my sister, she is a size 7.5 normally and the 8 fit her perfect and she agrees they are comfortable! They have a very soft liner that seem like they are going to incredibly warm! Plus they are cute in a simple, neutral way as we both like.
