My physical therapist recommended that
My physical therapist recommended that I sit up higher in chairs, to ease back pain. I take the cushion with me frequently and use it any time I am sitting ; at meetings, the theater, visiting, etc. It is wonderful!

Good for air travel
Airplane seats make my hips hurt, so after researching solutions I gave this cushion a try on my last trip, and it worked! No hip pain in spite of many hours in the air. It squished down small enough to fit in the backpack I use as my carry-on, and inflated quickly with a little help (by blowing into it). I had to release some air from it at high altitude on some flights because the low cabin pressure caused it to become over-inflated, so I'll try to remember to leave it a bit underinflated at takeoff in the future.

First cushion that helps!
I love this cushion. I have sciatica and my sit bone hurts a lot. I use it in the car, at home and bring it with me if I am planning to sit somewhere more than an hour.

Amazingly simple. Amazingly comfortable. Typical Thermarest!!!
Bought to use at work where I sent in a seriously under padded chair for 3-8 hours a day. With in the first use to weeks later, has made a huge difference. No sore bottom or back. Can adjust how much cushion there is once inflated by sitting on it and opening valve. I let a significant amount of air out so I can sit still without to much bouncy cushion. But if you want full cush, pad fills up within seconds. Easily rolls up into a compact, throw it in your bag size. Great stuff guys!

Great for a bad back
I have a very bad back and I have two of these coupled together for my desk chair. This product gives me great support and eases my pain of seating for a long period of time. Being disabled, your products give comfort and support.

lumbar support
I get severe lumbar pain in leg when driving for 8+ hours. Use two cushions plus pillow plus adaptive cruise control (able to take my feet off pedals) to control sciatic pain from poor seat design which is difficult to determine before buying a SUV. Also stop every 2 hours and walk. Also use cushion in kayak when paddling for 2+ hours and sitting in one position.
