You never would have thought sleeping on the ground could be so comfortable.

Great size for a tween
I bought this for my 11 year old for his Big Agnes Haybro bag. It's a perfect fit and I'm partial to Thermarest as I've had one for 20 years that is still warm and comfortable (Hint: store inflated with the valve open). But I did have to scratch out the word "Women's" on the pad with a Sharpie so he wouldn't gender-reject...
Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad
Best night sleep
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This pad was given to me as a gift three years ago. Thank goodness! Previously I was sleeping on a Z-Lite in order to save weight; (per my ex's obsession with cutting oz when backpacking). The Trail Pro has since made my backpacking/camping experiences so much better as I actually sleep now and it?s so comfortable. It also provides extra warmth on colder nights. The self inflate needs a little assistance, but not much. I usually blow it up for about 2 seconds and its good to go! My dogs have trampled all over this pad, unintentionally, but the fabric seems to be durable since it has yet to pop or rip a hole from their nails.
My only complain is that my pad didn't come with a stuff sack which at times can be annoying because it can be cumbersome.
Would you still put a matt under this one?...
Would you still put a matt under this one? Thanks!
I definitely would put something tough underneath, I've had 4 sleeping pads and they've all popped.
The Rolled Size: 28 x 18 for this new Trail...
The Rolled Size: 28 x 18 for this new Trail Pro doesn't seem right. Are these dimensions correct?
The women's Trail Pro packaged/rolled size is actually 28 X 15cm or 11 X 7in. bc.com got the centimeters & inches mixed up.
