Very Light.Very Soft. Small is 3.0oz

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This pillow is soft and small. It will need something to place on the inside for comfort or support. I use a small klymit Cush Seat to fold and place on the inside. It will pack inside your sleeping bag stuff sack.
NOTE: The cord has rubbed through on some of the sides from tightening around things. But they do have a lifetime guarantee.

Very light, very flat

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This pillow packs super small but it doesn't work to well on it's own - it just goes flat when you use it. I wrapped my down jacket around it and that seemed to do the trick to make it at all comfortable. I wouldn't say it's a very versatile piece so for UL camping I would just use the down jacket on it's own and leave this at home.

It works

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It will get the job done if you pair it with a dry bag of clothes or something. it is a little small and does not pack up as nicely as others do. I use it with other camp pillows when I am just car camping but I am looking for a new pillow for backpacking. So if you are just camping it will work with help but its comfort to space ratio is pretty low.

Perfect pillow when you cant bring alot with you.

This pillow rocks. yes its small but super fluffy it packs down nicely and fits in my dry bag with my sleeping bag. I think this is a perfect supplement to your bed pillow when out in the wild.!

Not a stand alone pillow

Compressible, light, too small. The fabric isn't the best next to your skin and it is too small unless you pair it with a stuffed up down jacket or something, but still nice to have.

Nice supplement to air pillow

I saw a large in the store and liked it, but wasn't sure how well it would keep it's loft and so didn't buy it. I ended up buying a small from Backcountry. By itself this pillow goes flat as a pancake. But it wraps perfectly around my Exped Air pillow and makes for the most comfortable pillow setup I've ever had in the woods.

Hoody turned plush down pillow

Sweet product if you want a better place to rest your head backpacking. Turns a pair of pants or sweater into a nice pillow. Doesn't compare to a real pillow... So, if you're a car camper, just bring your own from the guest bed. But for backpacking, if you can spare the space in your pack.. it's pretty plush!
