Very comfortable

It is a little too big for alpine climbing or when space is a premium, but for everything else it is the best pillow. It makes you feel like you are on your own bed with your normal pillow. Everyone I know gets jealous when I bust this pillow out.
Wife loves it

This pillow compresses down to a relatively small size, and is definitely plush and comfortable. I'm not willing to give up the space for the comfort, but my wife is, and she absolutely loves it.

First time using a compressible pillow over lugging the large regular pillow (I do mostly car camping with the family). And since we have managed to fill a Mitsubishi Outlander to the brim (including a car top carrier) we decided to start downsizing and started with smaller pillows.
These pillows worked out great when you take the time to read the instructions.
I have seen some reviews that claim these are lumpy, but you MUST wash and dry the pillow before you use it. I would recommend you do this any time you use it after it has been in storage for a while. The pillow held up to 3 nights of sleeping and each night was just as comfortable as the night before.
Comfortable and fluffy enough to satisfy my wife who is a side sleeper.
I just wish it was a bit more compressible which is why it got 4 out of 5.
No need to use your jacket as a pillow

I bought this pillow as a "why not?" sort of purchase, and I'm glad I did. After you initially wash it, it gets very thick and comfortable. It packs into itself to a great size to throw into your pack.

I used to camp with just using a hoody as a pillow, I have since upgraded to this. It does its job fairly well. Ordered the small for myself but upon getting it I gifted it to my dad and ordered the medium! I am a picky sleeper so this helps me out a lot.
However the pillow does take up a lot of room inside of your pack, but if you still rock the external frame pack like I do just strap it to the outside or throw it inside your sleeping bag and compress it. One more thing I recommend not storing it compressed and definitely unpack it right away when you get to camp it likes to puff up slowly.
Great for all ages.

I bought one of these for backpacking with my son's Boyscout troop. I have used in on 2 trips so far and love it. My son borrowed mine the other night for a church lock-in. He loved it so much that I bought him his own (in a different color so we don't get them mixed up). We bought the med size and its perfect for both he and I.
Awesome pillow!

Used it for a few weeks on a cycle tour, and did the job perfectly. Even used it at home sometimes. comfortable and packs small!

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
A down version would have been better as this doesn't pack very well and takes up too much space. Comfortable, though.

Definitely don't wait for bedtime to unpack it. It slowly fills up and fluffs up for the most comfort. Overall a good small size pillow for camping.

My head is heavy, but this held it up.
Light, packs small, works great. Medium is quite enough for a large-noggined adult.

I bought a few of these in the medium size recently and they are pretty cool. They pack up pretty dang tight and when unpacked plump-up on their own. It's kinda fun to watch! The only complaint I have is that the pack down pretty flat over the course of the night, resulting in not a lot of fluff in the morning. Perfect for backpacking.. for card cammping, you may wanna go with the large for comfort.
Where have you been all my life?

Title says it all. I'll take the minimal weight increase for a much better nights sleep in the woods.

This is a great accessory for every camper/backpacker. This pillow is super comfy and packs up pretty small considering. It's pretty cool how it fluffs itself after being unpacked. Get one and see for yourself. Great buy!

This is one of a few product items that will deliver. I have two mediums for my boys who are under 10 yrs old. the pillows accompany us on every camping or car trip. They love them. I found for me as a male adult that a large would be more appropriate due to the thickness so I recently ordered one. For tent camping, the medium fits perfectly into their Big Agnes wolverine sleeping bags and same for my Marmot. Always allow the pillow to fully "inflat" before using.

As Tats says, it's perfect for car camping. It would be nice if it could pack a little smaller, but once you let it uncompress it turns into a comfy little pillow.

What size did you get? Anyone using a small? I pretty much sleep on my back.
Thanks!

The small is great! it's just enough cushion to not have your head directly on the ground. I've stopped using full-size pillows long ago and since I travel a lot, the small is great to use on the go (saves space packing), and very comfortable to sleep on. Hope this helps!
Nice pillow

I got this for my spouse who asked for a larger camping pillow. It really fluffs up nice (it does take some time) and seems more comfortable than inflatable pillows I have used.
