Here's what others have to say...

Does anyone know if this chair will fit...

Does anyone know if this chair will fit in the Nemo Sleeping Pad? Or any of the other Thermarest chairs?

The 20" and 25" pad widths that this requires are pretty much standard across the board for both Thermarest and Nemo. Looks like you would have a really hard time going wrong with either on this one.

Great Little Item

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

After a long day on the trail, it's nice to have a comfy chair to sit back in while relaxing by the fire. These chairs are lightweight but seem durable and I easily attached mine to the exterior of my pack. They're a little steep in price, but worked well with my inflatable sleeping pad and it kept me off the cold, damp ground.

Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair Rocks!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using my Compack Chair for about three years. It's light, it packs small and it gives my lower back some much needed backcountry relief! My older model weighs 6.1 oz and tucks nicely in stuff sack with tent poles.

Backpacking companions kept eyeing mine on treks so I bought another to share!

Pic shows me resting my dogs after a long day in Wyoming's Wind River Range.

Man do I love this!

There are a few of these out there now, and Big Agnes and Exped seem to be the biggest competes with Thermarest. What I like about this one better than big Agness and some of Thermarest other models is that you don't have to completely enfold the mat here. If you want to leave more hanging out on the bottom and or top you can do so and make a lounger or a more air dense seat. This also allow for more lengths in pads if your taller as many won't accomodate 80" pads or more. Other than that this compack is super strong, ultra lite and easy to pack up. Before a few of the models like this I would not have even considered taking one with on a trip.
