    What a good idea

I've squirmed around on granite rocks around a campfire so many times, why didn't someone think of this sooner? I'm carrying that sleeping pad anyway, so the 11 oz to be comfortable all evening is such a small price to pay. Its sets up in seconds and feels like the easy chair in the game room. What a treat!

      Kick Ass Chair!

Love this sucker! Super comfortable and doesn't make you feel like you're going to fall back. Very sturdy and stable. Great for multiple uses not just around the campfire. Going to the lake or the beach? Take the chair! Going to your kid's sports game? Take the chair! Sitting in the back of your car overlooking the view, watching the sunset? Take the chair! The chair is get easy to use and put together. So happy I bought it! I ordered the 20in chair kit, which fits any 20in (51cm) wide pad including the NeoAir Thermarest pad . And obviously the 25in kit fits 25 in wide pads.

        much better then a log

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

this packs small and is very light. it works with my thermalite and that get more narrow at the bottom. (but it does work better with rectangular a pad but you can get others to work. )

        Great Little Item

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

After a long day on the trail, it's nice to have a comfy chair to sit back in while relaxing by the fire. These chairs are lightweight but seem durable and I easily attached mine to the exterior of my pack. They're a little steep in price, but worked well with my inflatable sleeping pad and it kept me off the cold, damp ground.

        Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair Rocks!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using my Compack Chair for about three years. It's light, it packs small and it gives my lower back some much needed backcountry relief! My older model weighs 6.1 oz and tucks nicely in stuff sack with tent poles.

Backpacking companions kept eyeing mine on treks so I bought another to share!

        Therm-a-Rest Compack Chair Rocks!

        Man do I love this!

There are a few of these out there now, and Big Agnes and Exped seem to be the biggest competes with Thermarest. What I like about this one better than big Agness and some of Thermarest other models is that you don't have to completely enfold the mat here. If you want to leave more hanging out on the bottom and or top you can do so and make a lounger or a more air dense seat. This also allow for more lengths in pads if your taller as many won't accomodate 80" pads or more. Other than that this compack is super strong, ultra lite and easy to pack up. Before a few of the models like this I would not have even considered taking one with on a trip.

Is this compatible with a Neo Air large?

would this or anything else work with an exped 30 inch mattress?

Does anyone know if this chair will fit...

Does anyone know if this chair will fit in the Nemo Sleeping Pad? Or any of the other Thermarest chairs?

Anyone know if these are the same height...

Anyone know if these are the same height as the Trekker? Same length stays?
