Great shoe!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are awesome shoes. While some of the TNF products are a bit over priced for the quality of the gear, these shoes are perfect. The toe box is perfect for my foot, and the size is dead on. I have been using them for about 6 months now and i have yet to find a short coming. I will report later if there are any long term issues.

Nice to hear that it is perfect for your foot but how do I know if it is perfect for mine if you don't say if yours is wide, narrow or in between?

Nice summer hiker

This is a comfortable shoe that has a fairly stiff shoe box, yet has virtually no break in period. Reasonably rugged for the type of construction. It is water proof and fits nicely based on european sizing (not US sizing). I paid $98 for these on sale. In retrospect, $139 isn't a bad price, but is pushing the limit on what I would pay for this shoe. I did not like the big prominent red pull loop on the back, so I carefully cut it off with a razor blade --- it looks much better without the red loop!

Solid shoe.

I love this shoe, very comfy, solid, stable structure. Fit is true to size and looks great. The only thing i'm not a huge fan of is the color scheme's available. Not that they are bad, just wish there were more universal colors. If your not a fan of red, then don't get these, both have red in them.

Yes... I'm a TNF fan.

I wore the HAVOC GTX XCR for about 14 months as daily shoes and put probably over 300 miles on them just at work and also wore them on many short weekend hikes. Loved them! Got a new pair of the Wreck GTX and have been wearing them at work and also did a 8 mile hike in the Flatirons with them. They are sturdy shoes with a stiffer sole than the GTX XCR's. As with all footwear, FIT is most important! I would definitely recommend these shoes if you do a lot of rock and scree hiking.

Yes... I'm a TNF fan.
