is this more of a fall jacket or winter jacket? i live in NC so i dont need something super heavy but would like something to keep me warm.

While it will strongly depend on your location, I'd consider this a Fall jacket at best-- light windblocking fabric and a nice fuzzy interior, but not seriously warm. If you'd like some help finding a jacket that'll keep you warm across multiple seasons, feel free to give me a call at 1-800-409-4502 ext 4456 or email me at!

Is there a wick ability aspect to this jacket?

Hey Lizzie,

You'll definately have some breathability with this jacket so it will be able to wick somewhat. The material is supposed to be wind resistant, not windproof. According to the TNF website, normal fleece cfm (cubic feet per minute) ratings is around 200 cfm 9, while the jacket is anywhere around 10 - 40 cfm. Hope this helps.
