What size should I get for my boyfriend?...
What size should I get for my boyfriend? He is 6ft 4 ins and 170 lbs on the skinny side?
Most likely large so that the arms are not to short.
TNF Windwall2 - Great MN Jacket
First, this jacket is warm. I wear it when its 15F or above. The collar is long meaning that if its cold and you flip it up, you stay pretty warm and cozy on a walk. Otherwise when flipped down, the collar is fine. The material has a hard finish on the outside - not your typical fleece so I doubt you'll get any pilling over time. The soft fleece is on the inside and the combination is more like a thick wool felt winter coat. The cut is trim. I have a size L. I normally wear a 42 jacket, 16x34 shirt, medium build. It fits fine but I'm not going to have a thick layer underneath. It also runs a little longer than a typical jacket so your lower back also stays warm. Overall, great coat!
I have several fleece jackets including a Denali...this is my favorite because it really does block a lot of wind and is warm and comfortable. It is easy to layer with my NF Apex jackets too.
TNF Windwall 2 Fleece Jacket
My son's Christmas present - we originally ordered the blue, needed to exchange it for the grey. The blue was just too bright for him - it's brighter in person than in the web picture. Other than that, it's great - he's worn it every day since we changed the color
Nice fit, Collar is a little big, too warm for every day use
I bought the jacket for my rock climbing husband. It fits well and looks nice. He doesn't like that the collar is a little too big and one side stick out when not zip up. (Although I don't know if that side is defective or not). He also thinks it's too warm to use most of the time in southern california. We went out and look for a replacement and he found the Northface Apex Bionic more suitable for his use.
