This hat is warm like others have said. THe only thing I wish they would do different is place windstopper thruout the hat. In essence, the ears/ ear band is windstopper but the colored part is not. So wind goes right thru the part that is not windstopper. The top of your head is completely exposed to the wind. If you want a completely windproof hat with ear flaps, look elsewhere.

This is the warmest hat I own and use it during winter mountaineering trips. The hat works well when worn with goggles (no gaper action). The 300 wt fleece is a little much to fit under a climbing helmet, but I can make it work. Recommended.

Nothing particularly outstanding about the look of the hat, but nothing to complain about either.

Bought it for my dad for Christmas, and he swears it's the warmest thing he's ever worn on the slopes. And he kinda has a big head, so I was stoked that it fit, too!
