When your connecting flight is due to leave in five minutes from a gate all the way across the airport, you need a bag that's not going to slow you down. The North Face Wayfinder 19 Rolling Bag, TNF's lightest carry-on ever, is up for a mad dash through multiple terminals. The lightweight, easy-rolling wheels and ambidextrous single pull-handle speed you on your way, while the durable, abrasion-resistant nylon ripstop fabric holds up as you plow through milling softball teams and run over elderly couples.

So far so good!

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have used it a couple of times already and I am very pleased with it. It looks cool, has a lot of space for a long weekend trip, the wheels seem sturdy and the only thing I am waiting to see is how durable is the material. I will update my review as I travel more ...

poor quality or design?

Purchased this as a carry-on for my wife. She flew from Montana to New Jersey and back, then from Montana to Wisconsin and back, six planes total, and stored it overhead-never checked. It already has a hole worn in the nylon ripstop where it is stretched over the wheel frame. I can only imagine what it would look like if it were checked and had a run in with the baggage handlers at O'Hare in Chicago! We have a 10 year old TNF rolling thunder, an XL and a L TNF basecamp duffles, and a 30" TNF Longhaul wheeled bag, all which have seen many trips and are beat to crap but do not have holes. Durability aside, it's a nice idea for a carry on bag, but still needs some design tweaks. I just returned the bag ( rocks....thank you!)
