Functionality: A+ Fit: C

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

So these pants definitely do what they are supposed to: keep me warm and dry. They do great at that. However the fit is not exactly the best. I bought an XL and am a size 14-16. I found that the material isn't very stretchy, so in spots where it's tighter fitting it means that long johns are also tighter and not as flexible. Also, I love the blue color, but they literally show any small spot of cellulite you might have, so don't think you can just wear them as apres ski pants. Finally, for my pant base layer I like them to sit a little higher so that no gaps happen between layers, but I find that these sit very low and because they aren't stretchy you can't really hike them up any higher, so it can also create unflattering muffin top :-( Buuuttt if you can find ways to work around that then they really do work great as a base layer.

light and warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I wish they were a bit higher to waist especially when used for sleeping in cold temperatures. Otherwise very light and warm.

Love the color!!

  • Fit: True to size

Im hoping these are warm. I put them on under my snow pants they seem warm but the fabric pulls easily. I already have a snug in them and haven't warn them yet. Will update after I wear them out but I love the color! They run true to size.

Amazingly warm

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was hesitant to purchase these due to price at 50 dollars full price. I ski a lot but there are a few days a year where the temps are frigid. I wore these under my Fera ski pants and never got cold nor did I sweat. I highly recommend these. They are not constricting , stretch with your body and don't lose shape. I am 5'5, 135 and wear a size 4 pants and the small fit perfect.

Bought for girlfriend, she loves them

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these for my girlfriend as an alternative to tights for her to wear with dresses or skirts during the winter. Bought them in black, and she absolutely loves them and says they keep her nice and warm and fit perfect for her. I might end up ordering more pairs for her because she is so pleased.

She has also tried these under a pair of skinny jeans and was pleased with the unobtrusive look and feel. For an average height 105lbs woman, XS should do.

The girlfriend loved them so much she had me buy her another pair. Plus we picked up a couple pairs to give as gifts to family. 5/5 stars is still where these stand.
