As the finishing piece in the formidable line, the Summit L6 Jacket comes equipped with a multitude of athlete-tested and alpine-tailored features ranging from responsibly sourced down to internal, glove-compatible, thumbhole cuffs. Use the L6 as a final outermost defense against extreme conditions while hiking or belaying to see it perform at its peak.

To equip the L6 for its shielding role, The North Face crafted it using its hardy FuseForm construction. By weaving a fabric using a blend of high-density fibers and lighter, lower-density ones into one singular fabric, it increases durability, improves the strength-to-weight ratio, and allows for traditional stitching and seam taping to be eliminated. The plush RDS-certified, 800-fill goose down provides unparalleled warmth and optimal body temperature regulation while the minimal seaming and welded Z-baffle construction eliminates cold spots and holds furnace-like warmth without the weight. A helmet-compatible insulated hood comes fully furnished with a brim, two-point adjustment closure system, and high front collar for maximum heat efficiency
