Take to the trail wearing the The North Face Men’s Voracious 2-In-1. A compressive short liner helps keep the family jewels in place, and mesh panels mean you feel cool even when it heats up in the woods. Navigate hairy switchbacks and leap over streams and muddy patches, thanks to the stretchy body fabric you're free to stretch and move as you need to. Inside these shorts, the liner brief helps to wick moisture away from your skin to keep you from feeling stifled or drenched in sweat before the home stretch. These shorts are good, but not spectacular. They are extremely flexible, perfect for trail runs, Plyo-metrics, and stretching. I like the simplicity of the 2 in 1 feature, and the inseam is a good length which is a couple inches longer than most running shorts for those of you who are a little uncomfortable showing off a little too much man leg. The back pocket feature is nice, but if you have your keys in them just remember before you sit down cause you might be in for a surprise. One other nice feature is that the compressive short liner does not ride up your leg while you’re moving which saves you from constantly pulling them back down. The biggest downside other than the price is the draw cord single loop design, It’s much harder to keep a tight fit compared to the separate draw cords.

Great all purpose sports shorts especially for running. Extremely comfortable. Minor complaint is the lack of individual draw strings--they have a "una-string". I cut it in two so I can tie the ends together. At this price NF should include a better draw string.

These are pretty good shorts, but not as great as the north face agility short which I love. One design feature I hate is the key pocket in the back. Maybe convenient for a run, but not when laying down on a flat bench for example. In addition, the pocket is pretty shallow. Some have complained they are extremely clingy which is true (especially out of the dryer). To stop the cling just rub lotion on the inner liner. It works! *this review is for the 2010 model which is identical*

These shorts are awesome... if it wasn't for the little bit of clingy stuff going on, you would barely know you were wearing anything! Well made.
