This shirt fits a little tight in the arms, though I'm sure it's designed too, I'd like a little more loose fit there. It also got some pretty bad snags very when it brushed some velcro and left some dangling thread. Other than that, the shirt definately seems to be well made, and comfortable. I was hiking on some pretty hot days, and the shirt kept me cool, but warm enough when the wind was blowing on the passes. It dries way faster than some of my other backpacking shirts, so that's a plus. It's a great looking shirt too. I'm not sure about the anti stink technology, I was out for 5 days, and though I normally will rinse my shirt (no soap), it was pretty ripe by the last day (which seems about standard compared to any other backpacking shirt I've used). All in all, I'd buy another one of these, and recommend it to friends (when it's on sale).

I am looking for a shirt/pullover for running in 20 - 40 F weather, I was looking at the North Face Impulse 1/4 zip - any other suggestions? I am looking for tights as well (Mens).

TNF isn't a bad choice but I've had much better luck with the "long sleeve Merino zip tee" and the "Prime Angelo long sleeve top" both from Backcountry. Usually I steer clear of product made by the company but these guys have it down to a science. They're both really top quality performance shirts for whatever type of work you're doing. Hope that helps.

Works great, it's got extra-breathable panels on the armpit and bottom of the forearms, nice touch. Thumb holes are a must have for cold-weather running.
