Stay warm and protected whether you're waist deep in powder or slashing the groomers with The North Face Men’s Verdi Plaid Down Jacket. This 600-fill down jacket features a waterproof breathable HyVent shell, so you and your insulation stay dry through your last run. A RECCO avalanche rescue reflector keep you safe in slide-prone terrain, and the zip-off hood and Underarm zips let you ventilate after an athletic hill climb. Clip your pants to the detachable powder skirt, and stash your goggles and MP3 player in the internal pockets. An external window pocket holds your ski pass for easy scanning on your way to the lift.

Bottom Line: Skiing’s more fun when you’re warm AND dry.

Puff!!

Riding in the puffy jacket is one of the best feelings. It's not necessary to have more than just one layer underneath, and the extra cushion and warmth feels like you're in your sleeping bag. I don't mind hiking around in my puff either, tie it around the waist, unzip it, one sleeve it, what ever. The Verdi Plaid down was my main Jacket all year long, it has great style, pocket placement and fit.

Toasty.

Stylie and warm. You cant ask for anything else when youre on the slopes. Great for a day on the Ice Coast with nothing on underneath but a great t-shirt. And nothing beats it when youre standing around waiting for your buddies at the bottom of the hill.

Bomber

Man this thing is warm. It has all the things you need powder skirt, hood, pockets and the lifetime warranty. Skiing in the backcountry can't be beat and you can stay dry all day even with the 3 feet of freshies that just fell. It's downfall is heating up, if your in to hiking and earning your turns you might want to tie it around your waist and wait for the ride down to sport it. Over all this jacket rocks it's got style and it's practical.

Warm & Chic

This one is really warm and light.
I like the color and the pattern very much.
Although the pockets are not as functional as my previous TNF coat; it's still a good winter coat choice.
