You often navigate technical mountain terrain with a light pack on your back. Get the sure-footed traction and weather protection your feet need from The North Face Men's Verbera Hiker GTX Boot. Despite its lightweight design, this boot packs a highly durable leather upper, a grippy Vibram sole, and a waterproof breathable membrane. Why reach for a full-blown mountaineering boot and wear your legs out with weight when all you need is a fully featured hiker like the Verbera?

  • Gore-Tex waterproof breathable membrane protects your foot from moisture outside (foul, wet weather) and allows sweaty moisture inside your boot to escape to the outside
  • Boot last has a medium-volume shape, it's narrower in the heel and achilles for control, and it features a roomier forefoot and tapered toebox to accommodate thicker hiking socks and swollen toes
  • Ventilation from ballistic mesh helps keep your foot cool, and the tough nubuck leather upper shrugs off sharp rocks and trail hazards
  • Northotic Pro footbed uses upgraded EVA material and a cushioned, Poron ReSource heel to soak up impact
  • Cradle heel cushioning and SR2 insole board provide support for carrying heavy loads but still allow for enough response so you can feel the trail below your feet
  • Vibram outsole has durable, reliable build and offers supreme traction on everything from wet, loamy trails to loose, rocky desert terrain

Father & Son

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I had purchased these boots about two years ago and absolutely they are the most comfortable boots out of the box. The arch support is good and the durability is bar none. Throw on a pair of wool socks and your feet are toasty warm and dry.

I loved these boots so much that I bought the same pair for my son so he can enjoy the benefits of this great boot!

BTW, if your gonna wear thick socks, get a size up.

Great boot.

  • Fit:Runs small

I picked these boots up about 6 months ago, and used them maybe 20-30 times. I love these boots. The goretex membrane has actually allowed to literally walk through standing water without my feet getting wet at all. Which is really handy. I also love the collaboration with Vibram. The soles are great, and have amazing grip. They've allowed me to traverse steep mountain faces and long more flat hikes as well. The longest hike I've had in this boot was ~10 miles. I've gotten a couple blisters, but I bought the boot a half size too small. But with good hiking socks that wick moisture you will be set. Would recommend these boots to anyone. They're very comfy and extremely well made. It is very clear these will last forever.

I took these out of the box, put them on and day hiked Mt Whitney - 20+ miles. No blisters! Since then I have done tons of other hikes, both winter and summer. They performed just as well and are super comfortable. Money well spent. I wear a medium weight hiking sock and sock liners with these.
