Description

Tackles serious day hikes, overnights, and rocky scrambles with ease.

You often navigate technical mountain terrain with a light pack on your back. Get the sure-footed traction and weather protection your feet need from The North Face Men's Verbera Hiker GTX Boot. Despite its lightweight design, this boot packs a highly durable leather upper, a grippy Vibram sole, and a waterproof breathable membrane. Why reach for a full-blown mountaineering boot and wear your legs out with weight when all you need is a fully featured hiker like the Verbera?
  • Gore-Tex waterproof breathable membrane protects your foot from moisture outside (foul, wet weather) and allows sweaty moisture inside your boot to escape to the outside
  • Boot last has a medium-volume shape, it's narrower in the heel and achilles for control, and it features a roomier forefoot and tapered toebox to accommodate thicker hiking socks and swollen toes
  • Ventilation from ballistic mesh helps keep your foot cool, and the tough nubuck leather upper shrugs off sharp rocks and trail hazards
  • Northotic Pro footbed uses upgraded EVA material and a cushioned, Poron ReSource heel to soak up impact
  • Cradle heel cushioning and SR2 insole board provide support for carrying heavy loads but still allow for enough response so you can feel the trail below your feet
  • Vibram outsole has durable, reliable build and offers supreme traction on everything from wet, loamy trails to loose, rocky desert terrain

I took these out of the box, put them on and day hiked Mt Whitney - 20+ miles. No blisters! Since then I have done tons of other hikes, both winter and summer. They performed just as well and are super comfortable. Money well spent. I wear a medium weight hiking sock and sock liners with these.
