Part of TNF's premier Summit Series, the Vector Thermal is the most technical jacket in their soft shell line. It's also the warmest. Constructed with Polartec Powershield, the Vector Thermal has a highly durable, stretch woven nylon surface that's highly wind- and water-resistant to protect against all but the wettest conditions (we're talking downpour). Its weave is super abrasion resistant should you take a digger and graze granite while climbing or snag a tree while backcountry skiing. High-loft inner insulating fleece adds tons of warmth that other soft shells simply lack, making this a superb jacket for kicking around town. And if you're working hard at the resort, the Vector Thermal is more breathable than traditional shells so you don't roast (though it is quite warm). Its stretchiness allows excellent freedom of movement while conforming to your body eliminating irksome loose fabric. The Vector Thermal is also lightweight. Functional details include two generously sized hand pockets, a cinch cord at the hem, and elastic bound cuffs. Ladies, this jacket hugs your curves without constricting and looks great at the resort or in town.

Bottom Line: Marries an insulating fleece layer with an ultra comfortable weather-resistant shell. Why layer when you have the Vector Thermal?

Great jacket!

This thing is great! It's good for a thin jacket on a cool to downright cold evening. It's great as a layering piece, and the lightweight, stretchy fabric makes it comfortable for active use. Plus it's pretty much windproof, and although I have yet to test it out in really heavy rain, so far it's been great for keeping dry too. The soft and fuzzy lining is just an added bonus!

This jacket ROCKS!

It's warm, even on the coldest days I never need to layer. I never feel the wind, the mink-like fur keeps me warm and never chafes my face. It's cute and it fits well, doesn’t make me look like a boy on the hill or around town. It's functional because you can wear it when it is dumping or sunny on or off the hill.
